She is a very smiley baby. We love her too pieces. Grandpa and Grandma (Junior) Morley are very proud of their grand baby.:)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-143\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index42.jpg\" alt=\"index4.jpg\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kevin Weaver ( a man from our church) wanted to do a fundraiser for Phil and Amrie Geise who are now living in Africa. So a lot of the young people and older people \ud83d\ude42 gathered at Whispering Pines orchard and spent 4 hours picking apples. ( I am just documenting this but I wasn&#8217;t there.) They picked 14 bins of apples as you will see in following pictures.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-144\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index12.jpg\" alt=\"index1.jpg\" width=\"447\" height=\"596\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-145\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index13.jpg\" alt=\"index.jpg\" width=\"429\" height=\"573\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s only 10 of the bins&#8230;.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-146\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/inde3x.jpg\" alt=\"inde3x.jpg\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-147\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index22.jpg\" alt=\"index2.jpg\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The evening that Jed&#8217;s got here we went out to eat at a Chinese buffet. It was wonderful to go somewhere as our whole family. We really enjoyed the time they were here. They were here from Friday afternoon to Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-148\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index62.jpg\" alt=\"index6.jpg\" width=\"348\" height=\"619\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Grandma putting Kari to sleep and Frosty in the front was with me on the couch. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-149\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index81.jpg\" alt=\"index8.jpg\" width=\"1328\" height=\"747\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Monday evening we had Ezra&#8217;s favorite curry stew with dumplings and had gifts cause it was his real birthday!:) Uncle Fain&#8217;s came over for desert (apple salad and fresh peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-163\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index72.jpg\" alt=\"index7.jpg\" width=\"341\" height=\"607\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Opening gifts!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-151\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index111.jpg\" alt=\"index11.jpg\" width=\"433\" height=\"770\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Little Kari is a bit more than 4 months but is learning to eat solid food a little.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-152\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index92.jpg\" alt=\"index9.jpg\" width=\"349\" height=\"621\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So happy after getting a good nap and a diaper change!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-153\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index15.jpg\" alt=\"index15.jpg\" width=\"422\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Jed help make a cement floor in our dog kennel. He also helped gather all the materials for making a picnic table but they didn&#8217;t get to it. At least we have the stuff until next time he can help build it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-154\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index16.jpg\" alt=\"index16.jpg\" width=\"404\" height=\"718\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They used 39 bags of cement. Already combined cement with all the sand and gravel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-155\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index-10jpg.jpg?w=379\" alt=\"index.10jpg.jpg\" width=\"379\" height=\"674\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The orchard allowed them to pick up drops so they filled the car trunk as full as they could so they can make cider. Mommy is washing them before they get chopped up. Daddy got this press last year and it worked well enough for our use!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-160\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index-19jpg.jpg\" alt=\"index.19jpg.jpg\" width=\"389\" height=\"692\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pouring apples into the grinder.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-156\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index121.jpg\" alt=\"index12.jpg\" width=\"410\" height=\"729\" \/><\/p>\n<p>They had to cut the apples before they put them in the grinder. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-157\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index14.jpg\" alt=\"index14.jpg\" width=\"409\" height=\"727\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Had to strain the juice before bottling it up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-158\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.us-west-002.backblazeb2.com\/amaryllis-wp-media\/2018\/09\/index131.jpg\" alt=\"index13.jpg\" width=\"412\" height=\"733\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I helped by watching Kari. She was mostly happy until she got to hungry and tired.
