Little pilgrims…

Then all the participants sang two songs together.

On the last song all the grandchildren there got up and joined in.

I was watching little Kari while we were singing and I noticed she was carefully watching the music that Jed was holding. It was so sweet.

Then Grandpa and Grandma sang their famous song “SIDE BY SIDE.” On the second chorus they added in the double bass. It was really neat. I love to hear them sing together.

Several families sang songs….

Then everyone sang together several Thanksgiving songs.

Tasha was trying to keep little Josiah entertained while his mother was busy. So she took a few selfies.:)

Friday evening all the young people who had brought instruments decided to go over to the little chapel to practice while the ladies finished supper. All the little children had just finished going through the line when Daddy told everyone to be quiet. In walked Samuel with the big double bass with Carrie on her violin. They started playing and then several others came walking in and then all of them emerged. They decided to flash mob us. 🙂 It was really neat. They played 2 songs.

Everyone worked together to clean up the dining room and chapel and we all left the campground.

Saturday morning was a work day at Grandpa’s. They settled me outside and I enjoyed the sunshine while they raked the leaves. They cleared up the flower beds, helped stack wood and clean up around the place.

In the afternoon the everyone split into two groups to go take a break and also to take a walk.

One group went walking to a lake. I wasn’t along so am just documenting again. 🙂

Sunday morning was sad because we were now all going our separate ways. So of course taking pictures was a great need. 😉 We had a bell program at Grandpa’s church.
