I’m inviting you all to join me in a 40 Day prayer challenge. Each day, for the next 40 days, I’ll be doing short posts to inspire and remind you to pray for specific prayer needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day #1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pray<\/strong> for abortion to end. There is an average of 3,000<\/strong> abortions committed each day in the United States, and an average of 125,000<\/strong> abortions committed each day, world wide.
Pray <\/strong>that the clinic workers’ eyes would be opened and that they would see that what they are doing is wrong.
Pray <\/strong>for the women considering abortion to see that it is an innocent life that they are taking and that they would choose life for their baby.
Praise <\/strong>the Lord that there are no operating clinics in the state of MO! Pray <\/strong>that this would be the case worldwide, starting in our home states.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believe abortion is wrong because it ends a life, formed and planned by God. It is a life treasured by God and planned before the foundation of the earth.<\/em><\/strong>
Jeremiah 1:5:<\/strong> “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you.”
Isaiah 43:1-2, & 7:<\/strong> “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.’ Every one who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
(A baby’s heartbeat is detected as early as 5 1\/2 weeks after conception.<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is wrong to put an end to God’s little ones.<\/em><\/strong>
Exodus 23:7:<\/strong> “Do not kill the innocent and righteous.”<\/em>
Matthew 19:14:<\/strong> “But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them.’ “
<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are formed in God’s image and our bodies are His temple.<\/strong>
Genesis 1:27:<\/strong> So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.<\/em>
1 Corinthians 3:16:<\/strong> “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
