People have been forced from their homes and watched siblings, children, and parents killed in front of them.&#8221;   <em>\u201cSince the war, people don\u2019t have a heart of forgiveness anymore,\u201d <\/em>said Pastor Etienne Ngadu, a teacher with the Portable Bible School program. <strong>Pray<\/strong> that they would be able to forgive those who have hurt them. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an area so war-torn and so remote, attending Bible school is nearly impossible. The distance and financial restraints stop people from leaving their communities. They struggle just to have enough food to live and to keep their babies from the clutches of malnutrition. <em>\u201cIn short, life is hard here,\u201d<\/em> said Pastor Obed Mukawirna, the Samaritan\u2019s Purse ministry coordinator. <strong>Pray<\/strong> for physical provision and spiritual healing for these people.<br><br>Theophile Wodukewas was a victim of such violence. He had hatred in his heart and plotted revenge against those that had hurt him and his family. <strong>But then the Portable Bible School changed his life. <\/strong>He was recruited as a student. As he prayed and learned, his heart changed, and he forgot his plans for witchcraft and killing.
