O Love that will not let me go, 2. O Light that foll’west all my way,

3. O Joy that seekest me through pain, 4. O Cross that liftest up my head, Written by George Matheson

This song has deep and wonderful words. If we could just enclose ourselves in them and let them flow through us. We CAN rest our weary souls on Jesus. We CAN let Him take our burdens. Giving Him back the life we owe to Him because we were so unworthy. But He came and died for us so that we could live with Him in Heaven where that morn will Tearless be and where life will endless be. Praise God for His unspeakable gift!

We CAN have the JOY that Christ gives even through the pain. No matter if it is physical or mental pain or the deep hurt of losing dear friends we CAN have that Joy. I was wrestling with worries and fears this morning and I needed a reminder to have the JOY of Christ. Just cast all your cares on Him for He cares for YOU!

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God. Psalm 90:2 How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! Psalm 147:5 O Love, that Will NOT let me GO!

I rest my weary soul in thee;

I give thee back the life I owe,

That in thine ocean depths its flow

May richer, fuller be.

I yield my flick’ring torch to thee;

My heart restores its borrowed ray,

That in thy sunshine’s blaze its day

May brighter, fairer be.

I cannot close my heart to thee;

I trace the rainbow through the rain,

And feel the promise is not vain,

That morn shall tearless be.

I dare not ask to fly from thee;

I lay in dust life’s glory dead,

And from the ground there blossoms red

Life that shall endless be.
