O Holy Night
O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
‘Til He appear’d and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born;
O night divine, O night, O night Divine.
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here come the wise men from Orient land.
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger;
In all our trials born to be our friend.
He knows our need, to our weakness is no stranger,
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King, Before Him lowly bend!
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother;
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord! O praise His Name forever,
His power and glory evermore proclaim.
His power and glory evermore proclaim.

Wow! What an amazing and moving hymn. How we should praise Him? My question is do we? Do we love Him? Do we worship Him? We should be falling on our knees praising and magnifying the Name of Jesus. He was born to be OUR friend. He came to earth to be born in a stable. The most humbling of births but He did it for us. He came so the weary world could rejoice at His coming and have a hope of being washed from our sins and the opportunity to live with Christ in His home in Heaven. Many people mocked Him. Do we ever mock Him? Do we obey Him with all of our hearts? I must admit, I have a lot of growing yet to do in many areas. But He gives us HOPE. He knows OUR (MY) needs, in OUR (MY) weakness is no stranger.
Can we search our hearts this Christmas time? Are our hearts clean, pure and ready for Jesus to come in? He wants to come into your heart. Listen to your favorite Christmas carol and then kneel down and if you are His child take some time to just praise Him. And if you know you are not ready for Heaven, then stop, kneel down and ask Him into your heart. He is waiting for you to do that!
Fall on your knees, O hear those angel voices and Behold your King! Praise His Name Forever!
