I always have a hard time choosing a hymn to use. I love so many of them and I usually fall asleep each night listening to music. And all during the night every time I turn over and can’t fall asleep right away. I love good music.
But I thought this one was appropriate for the time of life I am in right now. No, my body is not well. It has a long ways to go yet. But I am thankful that I can know in my heart that all is well and I can be happy and contented in that. This song is my prayer as I go forward this week and I pray it can be yours as well.
Does this mean everything will be perfect? Does it mean we won’t get discouraged? No, but if we keep seeking He will keep hold of us. He loves us unconditionally and shows that to us in every way He can.
Breathe on me breath of God. Fill me up with love, contentment, happiness, joy and forgiveness. Help me to love like you love. Keep my heart pure and clean. Help me to give my will and dreams to you. Help me to be so given up to you that I can say I know I am yours.
May you feel His breath and peace upon you this week. Soak yourself in His Word and good music. And let Him work with your life. He is asking us to just give up and let Him have control.
