1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
2-1/4 cup white flour
I TB sugar
I TB butter, softened
I tsp salt
1 cup warm water
1/4 c. Italian dressing
1/2 pound hamburger
3/4 c cheese
1 can sauerkraut, drained
In a bowl, combine 2-1/4 cups of flour, yeast, sugar, butter and salt. Stir in warm water; mix until a soft dough forms. Add remaining flour if necessary. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface; knead until smooth.
On a lightly greased baking sheet, roll dough completely to cover the pan. Put the cooked hamburger down the middle, next the sauerkraut and top with cheese. Pour the dressing over all. Make cuts from filling to the edges of the dough 1 in apart on both sides. Alternating sides, fold the strips at an angle across the filling. Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
Bake at 400* for 25 minutes or until brown on the bottom.
