This a sermon review for the sermon God Will Make a Way by Mr. David Gibbs Jr. I listened to this
message, and it really touched my heart. It was very needed at this time in my life. One of the main
verses that he used was Mark 7: 37. โHe hath done all things well.โ
In this sermon, Mr. David tells the story about his mother, who had severe sickness from Polio. He
talked about the trials their family went through and the murmurings and complainants that he went
through as a young child 8 years old when she first became sick. His mother pulled him into the secret
place of the most high and tried to keep him from growing bitter. She could usually tell by his face
what he was feeling.
One of his main points was that God does all things well. If we can say that and truly believe it,
what a blessing it can be to us because He does do all things well no matter what happens! God is also
all powerful. He can do the unbelievable. If it is impossible, He can still do it. He will make a way
through the trials that we go through.
His mother was always in a lot of pain, and when she couldnโt sleep at night, she would thank God
for the pain and thank God for polio. That really touched Mr. David. He said that through her words,
his mother could always help draw him into the secret place of the Most High.
Another special thing about his mom was her desire to work for God in spite of her physical
limitations. Through her faith and perseverance in the midst of suffering, God used her, an invalid, to
help start a bus ministry for children. It was truly a miracle.
The sermon really touched my heart. I hope it can be something that can encourage you today.
Jesus does all things well, and He is all powerful. We need to make sure that we thank Him for
everything no matter what. It was very convicting to me because throughout a hard time in life, itโs
easy to think about yourself and think about how hard you have it. But, if you do truly thank God for
what is doing and become determined to serve Him no matter what, then He will make a way for you.
I hope you can find this encouraging, and in case you want to listen to this message, I will leave the
